CHAPEL HILL – Of the many different activities that make Fedora’s Freak Show the most entertaining offseason event for UNC’s football program, prospects stepping forward at the end of the evening pledging their commitment to becoming Tar Heels is easily the night’s highlight.

On Saturday night at Kenan Stadium, two rising high school their allegiances to Larry Fedora and UNC football at the conclusion of the evening's festivities.

Anderson went first, walking up to the head coach about 30 seconds after he finished his post-camp speech. Anderson told the coach he was committing and they embraced. A few other already-committed members of the class of 2017 gave their approval to Anderson as well.

"It's surreal just to know that if I could pick any school in the country I'd still pick North Carolina...," Anderson told THI not long after formally committing. "I'm proud to be able to attend the school of my choice."

Rozar waited much longer, and ended up committing to Fedora inside the team's facilities and not on the field. According to sources very close to the situation, two or three more commitments could be forthcoming from prospects that were in attendance Saturday.

A year ago, defensive end Tomon Fox and offensive lineman Luke Elder made the pledge. Both were in attendance Saturday as signed, sealed and delivered Tar Heels. They have now enrolled in school and are formally a part of the program.

Here is some information on the kids that committed Saturday night:

Brian Anderson, 3-Star OG, Montgomery, AL – Anderson’s stock has steadily risen over the last year. He fought hard to get a 3-star and clearly earned it. The standout at Montgomery Catholic had a strong interest in UNC early on, targeting it as one of the schools he most wanted to attend. From a purely football perspective, Anderson loves the way OL coach Chris Kapilovic uses his group.

“Their OL always is making movement off the ball and getting the job done,” he said. “Coach Kap is an old school guy who knows the ins and outs of the OL. He definitely knows how to run the show and run it right.”

Anderson (6-2, 271 pounds) chose the Tar Heels over offers from Cincinnati, Syracuse, Wake Forest, Indiana, Iowa State and others. Clemson, Georgia Tech and Missouri were close to offering before Anderson made his decision.

Fedora's post-Freak Show speech followed by Anderson's commitment. Here is the second part of Anderson and Fedora after the OL committed.

Caleb Rozar, 3-Star ATH, Dickson, TN – A wide receiver and defensive back, Rozar is being recruited as a defensive player by most schools, but remains listed as an athlete because of the variety of his variety of skills. UNC is most interested in the 6-1, 200-pound Dickson County H.S. product to play cornerback and nickel back.

Rozar chose UNC over offers from Louisville, Georgia Tech, Nebraska, Mississippi State and others.
